Beamology bands are marked by laser rather than ink or stamping, so the number reads the same on the last band in the set as it does on the first. You choose the style, the color, the number the set begins at, and the text engraved above it — your farm name, your initials, your bloodline. Nothing is pre-made. Every set is cut and engraved in our shop after the order comes in.

Choosing a band style

• Leg bands — worn on the leg and read at a glance while the bird is on the ground. Nine colors, sixteen stock designs, or your own artwork.
• ZIP wing bands — fitted to the wing web, usually set on young stock. Eleven colors, designs and custom artwork supported.
• JIFFY wing bands — the compact wing band, engraved text only.

How the numbering works

Bands are engraved in consecutive runs. Pick your quantity, then pick the number the set starts at — a 100-count set starting at 01 runs 01 through 100. Starting fresh, choose 01. Adding to a yard you already band, start where your last set ended so no two birds ever carry the same number.
